The Cavite State University College of Medicine, in a culture of inter-professional collaboration, is committed to breed versatile physicians as leaders and managers for more responsive health systems.

The CVSU College of Medicine shall:

• Institute multidisciplinary collaboration among healthcare and non-health professionals with diverse backgrounds, interests, expertise and value for global social responsibility;

• Develop a nationally leading medical education program that is aligned to the goals and investments of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

• Formulate basic educational frameworks in SDG integration, materials, processes and environments that will enable learning experiences and responsible leadership;

• Promote information exchange including exemplary practices to facilitate mainstreaming of the SDGs in education, research and development, and community engagement with the end in view of creating sustainable social, environmental and economic value;

• Guarantee the accessibility of state-of-the-art infrastructure to accelerate learning and development; and

• Promote the highest standards of ethics, integrity and humanity across all undertakings.

Having graduated in CVSU College of Medicine, the students should be able to:

• Demonstrate inspirational leadership in advancing inter-professional collaboration towards a holistic interdisciplinary understanding of sustainability problems and solutions;

• Create and work with highly effective teams of multiple disciplines to improve quality of care and optimize individual and population health outcomes;

• Create, adopt and spread change to enhance health systems and improve the health of the individual and population;

• Promote critical judgment based on evidence and experience; and effective and ethical decision making as a guide to moral and principled reasoning;

• Communicate effectively, including giving and receiving feedback with due respect and value others’ contributions to individual and population health;

• Adapt the values of respect, adaptability and flexibility in serving various population groups and public health settings.

We, the faculty, staff and students of the Cavite State University College of Medicine uphold the University’s tenets of TRUTH, SERVICE and EXCELLENCE as our foundation.
