Political Science is a four-year degree that seeks to understand and explain the theory and practice of government and politics from the local, national, and international levels. As a social science, it covers a wide spectrum of concerns which seeks to understand relationships between the individual (micro) and the institutional (macro), as well as the dynamics of policy making and politics. Students taking up political science do not only learn about systems of government, but they are also trained with analytical, communication, and research skills that are highly in-demand for a wide range of professions. 

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science is under the Department of Social Sciences headed by Armi Grace B. Desingaño with two other programs, the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and the Bachelor of Science in Social Work. 

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science has eight highly competitive and qualified faculty members whose expertise can produce ready graduates for global competitiveness. 

The Accreditation Team was composed of passionate and dedicated faculty members under the Department of Social Sciences. They are part of the task force team and the arm of the program that help the BA Political Science in complying and assuring that all the papers, documents, attachments are properly filed and organized and armored with endeavors for the success of the program.
