Jen Canfield

I have been enjoying working with Williston's amazing students for three decades and it's such an honor to witness our young learners as they bloom and change throughout the year.  There's a great sense of wonder and curiosity in a classroom filled with 5 and 6 year olds.  In our class, we can often be found singing, laughing, reading, playing, drawing, writing, working with numbers, investigating, building, creating, dancing and exploring outside together.  Finding the joy in learning is an integral part of all of the hard work we do together in school.

A list of some of my favorite things includes: campfires, wildflowers, raspberries, swimming holes, early mornings,  hikes or bike rides, a good book, skiing through the woods with our dogs Tucker and Remy and doing just about anything outside with family and friends. I feel so fortunate to have my dream job here in Williston and I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year!
