Marybeth Morrissey

I moved to Vermont from Massachusetts in 1992 to pursue a Master's Degree at Saint Michael's College. I began my teaching career at Shelburne Community School in 1994 and returned to Williston Central School in 2000 (I interned here in 1993). I have been happily teaching 3rd and 4th graders at WCS ever since!

When I'm not teaching I like spending time outdoors, enjoying time with my friends, and traveling. I love experiencing different cultures and in 2013 I spent several weeks volunteering at a school for disadvantaged girls in Thailand. I was also fortunate enough to visit several schools in Japan as part of a Fulbright program in 2014.

I love traveling around the United States as well, and have a goal of visiting all 50 State Capitol buildings. I still have a very long way to go!
