Soccer is a Fall Sport at Williston Central School. It is open to all students in grades 6th - 8th. We have a no-cut policy for soccer. We do expect that all students who come out for the soccer teams understand that their selection to a team (A or B) and playing time will be dictated by the coaching staff's observation of the player's skill level, work ethic and desire to be a contributing member of the team.
Start Date: Thursday 8/28/25
Meeting place: Softball dugouts
Time: 2:50 - 4:20, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Equipment needed to attend practice:
Active wear - such as shorts and a t-shirt.
Safety equipment - Shin guards and cleats are required if you don't have your own you may borrow them from the school. Students are recommended not required to have and wear a mouth guard while playing this sport.

Field Hockey is a Fall Sport at Williston Central School. It is open to all students in grades 6th - 8th. We have a no-cut policy for field hockey. We do expect that all students who come out for the field hockey teams understand that their selection to either A or B teams and playing time will be dictated by the coaching staff's observation of the player's skill level, work ethic, and desire to be a contributing member of the team.

Time: 2:50 - 4:20, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Meeting Place: Baseball field dugouts
Equipment needed to attend practice:
Active wear - such as shorts and a t-shirt as well as cleats (or at a minimum some running shoes).
Safety equipment - Mouth guard, shin pads, eye protection. We have some equipment that students may borrow, however it is helpful to have your own.

Cross Country Running is a Fall Sport at Williston Central School. It is open to all students in grades 6th - 8th. There is a no-cut policy for Cross Country Running. All Cross Country Runners are eligible for competing in every race. Practice involves building strength, learning form details to make running easier, and working on endurance! Team activities include opportunities for leadership and for achieving goals. The season runs from the start of school to the end of October.
Start Date: Thursday 8/28/25
Practice: 2:50-4:20, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Place to meet: Baseball dugouts-third base side
Equipment needed to attend practice:
Active wear - such as shorts and a t-shirt as well as running shoes. Be prepared for the weather.
