• Choose a topic that you are passionate about. (Brainstorm)
• Find a global goal that your topic connects to.
• Learn as much as you can about your topic and the global goal.
• Find evidence that supports why your topic is important and why others should care about it. (Claim/Evidence/Analysis)
• Find out what the global goal means, why it is necessary, how people around the world can help, and what people are already doing to make a difference.
• Then, after you have researched all of this critical information, find a way to share it with the world! (Project Plan)

There are three major reasons why it is important to learn about the Global Goals. First, we need to know what the problems are in our world so we can try to help solve them. Second, the more we know about the goals, the more we can share with others so they can help too! Finally, sharing this information is a great, meaningful way for us to work on the skills we need to practice, like critical reading and informational writing. If we can practice those skills AND make a difference in our world, then why not do it?

This "Project Ideas Page" lists several ways you can share your learning with others and show off your Reading, Writing, and other skills as well at the same time. If you have a share out idea that is not specifically listed, just check in with your core teacher and we can figure out how to make it work for you.
