Swank Video Streaming

Per Swank Movie Licensing FAQs, "You can show movies that are secured from any legal source (DVDs, digital copies, streaming, etc.). This includes renting, borrowing or using movies from your personal home collection." So, it would NOT include a movie that you streamed from an account that is not your own; for example, borrowing someone else's login credentials to Netflix is not legally sourced.

Per the Department of Libraries: "The Department of Libraries (VTLIB) in partnership with the Agency of Education (AOE), will provide free movie streaming and public performance licenses through Swank Motion Pictures, Inc to Vermont public schools for the next two school years, 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. Educators can use the Swank K-12 Streaming platform to incorporate movies and documentaries into lesson plans. The service also gives every student access to teacher-assigned films for in-person or remote learning. [...] All VT public schools will automatically be licensed for public performances for the duration of this contract. " (https://libraries.vermont.gov/services/school_libraries/movies
