Hi, my name is Katie Cuttitta. I'm a CVSD Special Educator working with 3rd and 4th graders in Equinox at Williston Central School. I have been fortunate to have worked at both ABS and WCS since 1997. As a case manager, I have the opportunity to Co-Teach with all classroom teachers on Equinox. I also support student learning in 1:1 and small group work.
Prior to teaching in Williston, I was a special educator in Manchester, Vermont and a first grade classroom teacher in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1993, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati with teaching licenses in Special Education and Elementary Education. In 2003, I completed my Masters in Education at Saint Michael's College, with a concentration in reading fluency.
In addition to teaching elementary students, I am an instructor in the Special Education Department at the University of Vermont. In order to give back to our community, I spent 4 years as a Board member for the Vermont Family Network. I live in Williston with my husband, our two children and a lovely golden retriever, Brooks. I had the unique privilege of sharing the same school (WCS/ABS) with my own children!
