Charlotte Central School offers a wide range of engaging afterschool activities designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and learning beyond the classroom.
Students can explore new interests and strengthen their skills through a variety of clubs led by faculty members:
Spanish Clubs (K–2, 3–4, 5–8) with Constancia Gomez — build language skills and cultural awareness through interactive games, music, and conversation.
MathCounts with Rachael Miller and Mary Tierney — challenge your problem-solving abilities and prepare for regional math competitions.
First LEGO League with Tim Holcomb and Steve Flint — dive into robotics, engineering, and innovation through hands-on LEGO-based projects.
Jazz Band with Chris Gribneau — make music come alive while learning the art of improvisation and performing in a dynamic group setting.
CCS Musical — showcase your talents on stage through acting, singing, and set design in our annual school musical production.
Student Council (5th–8th grade) With Dave Baird and Andrew Lounsbury- Student Council gives students a voice in school decisions by planning events and sharing student ideas
Yearbook Club with Elisa Miller- Students are helping create and build the yearbook during C3
Sustainability Club with Julia Beerworth- Students explore different leadership opportunities both within the school and outside the school
