The CVSD Board is committed to putting the district on a path to a sustainable capital funding strategy to minimize costs and stabilize tax impacts.
After a period of catching up, district voters will see consistent, small investment requests (stewardship bonds) prioritized to eliminate the need for the large, construction projects being seen by some of our neighbors.
Double, or triple-digit size bonds are often a result of deferring necessary maintenance.
Deferred Maintenance also causes:

Phase 1 of a multi-phase project prioritizes the health of students and staff and reduces the use of energy - particularly fuel oil which currently costs the school over $50,000 a year.

Future phases will include ventilation and energy efficiency improvements in the 1939 and 1987 wings, cafeteria upgrades and mechanical, electrical and educational updates throughout the facility
