Q.  What should I do if I turned in a resource to the school library, but it still showing up as a fine on my student record?

A. There are a few steps you can take to get the fine removed.

Step 1. Report this to library staff and they will assist you in conducting a shelf-read for books. If the book is found, it will be scanned and returned through the Destiny circulation system. Please be aware that it takes 24-hours for records to update between Destiny and InTouch, the accounting system used by our business office. 

       Step 2. If the resource is not located during the shelf-read, complete and submit a CVHS Lost Item Fine Waiver Request Form. Make sure you fill in all answers and add N/A to fields that do not apply to you. Turn in the form to the business office, or email mlarsen@cvsd.org. Form processing and fee waivers require a minimum of 3 business days to process. 

Class of 2023, CVHS Lost Item Fine Waiver Request Forms must be submitted no later than Monday, June 5th to be processed and fines waived to receive your diploma at graduation.
