Classroom Happenings:
Reading is necessary and fun for students to expand their world. Research shows the consistent daily reading will expose your child to various authors’ styles and will improve your child’s fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing. Along with these competencies, my goal is for your child to grow to enjoy reading and to choose to read for pleasure. Not only do we have access to our school library, but we have an excellent selection of books in our classroom. We encourage you to sign them out, but lost or damaged books must be replaced.
**If your child has books or magazines at home that s/he is no longer reading, please consider donating them to our classroom library!**
