FINANCIAL AID: Where to Begin
Step one for FAFSA, is creating a FSA ID with your parent or legal guardian. Once you have created your FSA ID, you can file for financial aid as early as December 2023.
Filing FAFSA Checklist:
FSA ID for parent and student
2022 Tax Return Information for parent and student
Social Security Numbers for parent and student
Other supporting income information
State issued driver license or ID
Remember: Not All Careers Require a College Degree!! There are a variety of successful careers where a traditional 4-year degree is not necessary. This includes but isn't limited to- the military, vocational school or learning a specific trade!
PA CareerLink Apprenticeship Program: Many skilled laborer positions offer apprenticeships or paid on-the-job training in rewarding careers!
CVHS School To Work Program:
This program is designed for 12th grade students who are in good academic standing, interested in gaining more experience working while in high school. Students attend their core classes in the morning, able to leave in the afternoon and work at their place of employment.
