Blue Jay Physical Education & Health

Daily physical activity is more important than ever during this difficult time in our country. Increased blood flow to the brain and body can help with stress, anxiousness, diet, sleep, overall well being and much more. This is the time to try and find new ways for you and your family to be physically active. It is recommend that we are to get at least 30-60 minutes of physical activity daily. As I frequently tell my students, "Do something daily that gets your heart racing and your body hot and sweaty". Try a new workout video online, go for a walk or ride a bike together, work in the backyard, create silly games to play together, or whatever works for each of you. Have fun and stay active my blue jays!

About Ms. Farabaugh

This is my eighth year teaching Physical Education and my third year at Conemaugh Valley. I have a BS in Health and Physical Education from Slippery Rock University. Two years later I decided to attend Slippery Rock again to obtain my masters in Environmental Education. I love finding new ways to be active in the outdoors. My favorite activity is hiking and exploring new places.
