Hello! My name is Kathleen Marano. I am the 4th Grade Reading and Language Arts teacher at Conemaugh Valley. I have been teaching for 13 years! I received my teaching degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2009 and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Concordia in 2016. I have taught many different grade levels, but I'm super excited to join the Bluejay family as a member of the 4th Grade team!

I have 5 nieces and 1 nephew
I am an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to Pittsburgh sports and UNC!
My favorite sports are baseball and basketball
I love music and play the piano
My favorite color is teal
I love to paint, go on nature hikes, and visit zoos!
