Hello, I am your Kolarik Librarian, Vickie Bookout. I have been the Librarian at Kolarik for 18 years and have been in education for over 25 years. I have 2 grown children, and 5 grandchildren. I love working in the library! Prior to being in the library, I taught English/Language Arts for 5 years, and before that I worked as a parent volunteer in my children's elementary library and then a library aide at a 6th grade campus. I love helping students find books they like to read! I so enjoy seeing their faces light up when they find that perfect book!
