Hello! My name is Madeline Crawford, and I am your librarian this year. I have been a teacher for 20 years, a Librarian for 9 years and reading is one of my passions. I am so excited to share so many books, reading celebrations, makerspace opportunities and S.T.E.A.M. projects with you. I have 4 blessed children, Kerry 27, Kourtney 27, David Jr. 22, and Kaylor 19. I also have 2 fur babies who are named, Zeke, and Moose.
A little about me is that I love to travel, study about the Cristian Faith, reading, watching TikTok, and being with friends and family. My favorite non-fiction book is The Bible, and my Favorite fiction book set is A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snickets.
I can't wait to meet you and get to know you and your family.

Each week students will visit the library. Students in grades K-1 will check out one book each week, and students in grades 2 will check out two books each week. Grade 3-5 can check out up to 3 books. Please help your child remember to bring their library books to and from school. If a student does not have books on their library day, they will not be allowed to check out new books until they return them. All damaged books will have a fine.
clean hands = clean books
Hugging your book keeps you from dropping it.
When books are left on the floor, they can be stepped on or pets can mistake them for a chew toy.
Remember, your pages are made of paper and will tear if you are turning them roughly.
Remember to return your books each week to the library.
Holding your book with two hands help you turn the pages gently and keeps the book from falling.
Books and water do not go together. Keep your books out of the rain, bathtubs, and away from drinks.
Do not fold the pages of your book to mark your spot. If you need a bookmark, please come and ask for one in the library.
