Students should be on time, prepared, and respectful to others
Any student that is late for class, must report to the office for a tardy slip before entering the classroom
All homework must be turned in on the day in which it is due, in order to get full credit
Graded math assignments may be corrected for a better score throughout the quarter / however, if they are turned in late, the grade will be adjusted due to being incomplete work
Classroom incentives must be earned. Any student that has missing work, gets in trouble (in or out of the room) and is placed in In-School, or has an Out-Of-School , will not be allowed to attend classroom parties or incentives happening within a 2 week block
Missing work must be completed before a student will attend any fun activities within the classroom
Any toys or small objects that are brought to school and become a distraction, will be placed in the May box. (They will not be given back until May when school lets out)
Students who struggle to work together with other students as a team are expected to walk to the door and wait for me to discuss any misunderstandings or conflicts taking place
Students will be expected to write his / her homework down independently and legible in their take home assignment books.
Book projects will consist of 100 points toward a reading grade and normally range from 5 to 6 projects per year
Treats may be sent for birthdays and / or holiday parties, but must be individually wrapped items or store purchased cupcakes
Chromebooks are only sent home if we are doing a large project and needing more time to work. (No internet Hotspots will be sent home)
Accelerated Reading will be 15% of the reading points for the quarter
