Dear Parents and Students,
During these times of uncertainty I have asked the staff to prerecord their video lessons, and schedule a time they will be online to answer any questions you or your child may have about the lesson or assignment. I know many of you work and it is hard trying to juggle getting home and do the required work online and take care of home also. I hope this will cut down on the amount of time spent watching the "live videos."
None of us have any control of what is going on with this virus or the predicament it has placed us in. That being said, those of you who have chosen for your child to be virtual it is vital that they complete the assignments that the teachers assigned them in Google Classroom. Even thou your child is virtual and if they do not do the work they will receive zeros for those assignments. It would be the same if they were face to face, if they did not do the work they would receive zeros.
Teachers have more than one student and can't keep going back time after time to allow your child chance after chance to get it done. They give them time to complete the assignment and it needs to be done by the due date. If you have not given your email address to your child's teacher please do so and you can see when the teacher emails them with their missing assignments. We would appreciate your support. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call (270) 465-4561.
Mrs. Doretha Sanders, Principal
