Local Scholarship Opportunities

• Alan J. Guzik Scholarship

  • A scholarship of $1000.00 may be awarded to provide assistance to a Heating & Air Conditioning student pursuing education and/or training upon graduation from CVCC.

• Cuyahoga Valley Federation of Teacher's Scholarship

  • Two (2) scholarships of $1,000.00 each will be awarded to students that attend Cuyahoga Valley Career Center.

• Endowment Scholarship

  • A scholarship of $1,000.00 may be awarded to eight (8) CVCC students who reside in the Cuyahoga Valley Career-Technical Planning District to provide assistance to a student for post-secondary education tuition and books, or tools to enter the workforce in their selected career field upon graduation from CVCC.

• "Grow the Construction Trades" Scholarship

  • DeWalt tooling up to $500 may be awarded to provide assistance to a student pursuing education and/or training in the Construction Trades upon graduation from CVCC.

• Haas Scholarship

  • A scholarship will be awarded to provide assistance to a Machine Technology student pursuing education and/or training upon graduation from CVCC.

• James and Lydia Virost Scholarship

  • A scholarship of $2,000.00 may be awarded to one (1) CVCC student who attends Nordonia School District to provide assistance for pursuing training in a technical institute, skills training, or internship in a skilled trade program upon graduation from CVCC.

• Lozick Family Foundation Scholarship  (Machine Technology Students Only)

The Lozick Family Foundation Scholarship will be awarded upon consideration of these criteria:

• Enrollment in adult education manufacturing programs

• Must be in satisfactory financial standing at CVCC or other post-secondary training institution

• Maintain satisfactory academic progress and attendance while enrolled

  • This scholarship is a chance to carry on the legacy of a young man who dedicated his life to others—who was always there without asking for anything in return. Just as Jacob served, protected, and showed immense bravery in the face of danger, he also made the ultimate sacrifice to protect his community. Let us continue to make this world a better place in his honor.

  • One scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a student that attends Cuyahoga Valley Career Center.

  • A scholarship of $1000.00 may be awarded to provide assistance to a student pursuing education and/or training upon graduation from CVCC

• ScripType Skilled Trades Scholarship 

  • A scholarship of $1,500 may be awarded to provide assistance to students seeking pathways toward employment in a

skilled trade in one of the following program: Architectural & Mechanical Design, Auto Body Repair & Refinishing, Automotive Technology, Construction Trades, Electrical Systems, Engineering Technology, Heating & Air Conditioning, Machine Technology, Power Equipment Technology, or Transportation Services

  • A scholarship of $1,000 may be awarded to one (1) CVCC student for tools/uniforms to enter the workforce in their selected career field upon graduation from CVCC in one of the following programs: Architectural & Mechanical Design, Auto Body Repair & Refinishing, Automotive Technology, Construction Trades, Electrical Systems, Engineering Technology, Heating & Air Conditioning, Machine Technology, Power Equipment Technology, or Transportation Services.
