What is FIRST?

FIRST stands for: For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology

FIRST Robotics Competition provides opportunities for high schoolers and their mentors to work together to solve problems and compete against others in science and technology.

Teams are challenged to create an industrial-sized robot and program it to compete strategic field games against other teams.

Partaking in FIRST not only teaches students about STEM but also about how to raise funds, problem solve, and work as a team all while remembering to have fun!
