Once your local review process is established, you can apply to become a fully Local POCR Certified campus.
Here is a brief explanation of the application.
If you have any questions about the application, reach our to CVC's POCR Lead Xochitl Tirado (xtirado@cvc.edu)
The application asks you to:
Describe your current local online course review process and include any relevant documentation or URLs.
Describe how faculty are prepared and supported in their course design and how alignment with the CVC Course Design rubric, including Section D (accessibility), is verified. (closing the loop)
NOTE: Courses need to be aligned for all sections, A-D. All Canvas pages, documents, and videos need to be checked for accessibility.
If available, include a copy of or link to any local Academic Senate resolutions about the adoption of POCR and/or the CVC Rubric.
Provide a list of all of your local POCR reviewers, including the email address they used to register for the POCR course. (Completion of the @ONE POCR course is required before serving as a local reviewer.)
Identify the three courses your review team will use for the Capstone review activities.
Meet with your CVC's POCR Lead in preparation for beginning the Capstone procedure.
NOTE: We'll underscore it again. We recommend your review team meets with CVC's POCR Lead regularly and often! This will make it more likely for your team moves smoothly through the Capstone process.
Once the capstone steps have been completed, and your college has fully aligned and verified three courses your CVC dashboard will be updated with a new submission form. This allows your team to submit the 3 aligned courses, (1 at a time on the form) to be processed for the CVC Quality Reviewed badge in the CCC Course Finder.
