About Us

The Bahá'í Faith has been part of the communities of Castro Valley Ashland, Cherryland, San Lorenzo, and unincorporated areas of Alameda County west of Highway 680, since 1972. Bahá'u'lláh – the prophet founder of the Bahá'í Faith – taught that a just and peaceful global society is now possible. Bahá'ís strive to give expression to the oneness of humanity, a core principle of the Bahá'í Faith, by seeking to eliminate racial prejudice, and advance the equality of women and men.
