Description
The Holiday committee’s purpose is to utilize the monthly December meeting of the Central Chapter to celebrate, and honor the our partners involved in the school facilities operation. The event is a more relaxed atmosphere that will leave you humble. The event also allows the chapter to support our Scholarship Program.
The goal is to offer professional development of Central Chapter members and member districts’ staff by creating an annual full-day training program that enhances the practical and technical proficiency of facilities staff. Offering a catalog of training classes and hands-on workshops targeting custodial, maintenance and grounds supervisory and professional staffs. The Expo provides facilities members an opportunity to gain knowledge that can be used in their home district on new products and techniques.
The goal of the Chapter Golf Outing is to provide resources for our Scholarship program, funding academic opportunities for children of our communities. Additionally, camaraderie and relationship building enhance the professional network and provide Facilities Directors opportunities to interact with our partners.
On an annual basis, the Scholarship Committee awards merit and monetary awards to the graduating high school senior that are pursuing an education or career into Facilities, Engineering, Architecture or Trades Based . Scholarship applications are due in May of each year, and applications are available on the Chapter website or through Facilities Directors and or Guidance Office in each district.
