My name is Sara gassner-Wollwage.
This is my 8th year teaching and my 5th year teaching tk at CVE.

I was a Preschool Teacher for two and a half years and went to Cal State East Bay for my Teaching Credential to teach TK! I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood and focused my thesis project on risk-taking.
I care deeply about creating a classroom community where students learn how to take care of themselves, take risks, how to empathize, take care of others and learn from others.
I live nearby in San Leandro and grew up in Vallejo and Alameda. I love to travel to other countries to learn about other cultures. For now during COVID-19, I've been spending more time baking, hiking, reading, and doing yoga.
