"The important thing is to never stop questioning." - Albert Einstein
Hello! My name is Nick Sutton, but I go by Mr. Sutton in the classroom. This 2022-23 school year will be my 6th year teaching a Resource class at Creekside Middle School. I love teaching, learning, and especially about all the interesting students that come with being a teacher! I grew up in the Bay Area and went to public schools in San Leandro. After that, I went to Chabot Community College and transferred to California State University East Bay where I graduated with a bachelors degree in Psychology and also Human Development. I then earned two teaching credentials at the same college; one in special education m/m and multi-subject. After that, I continued my education and earned a Master's Degree in Special Education. I'm currently one of two resource teachers at Creekside and the current Department Chair for the Special Education Resource Program. I've taught grades 6-8 and every year brings something new. Furthermore, I've had a heavy hand in developing the Resource program at Creekside, and I'm looking forward to the new challenges that this new world is going to bring us this year!
