This is my 8th year teaching science at Canyon Middle School.
I have taught in San Lorenzo and Dublin in the past.
I live right here in Castro Valley. I have been a Castro Valley resident for the past 16 years. I have two boys. My youngest is a junior at CVHS and my oldest just graduated. He's still figuring out what's next.
I love science. It was always my favorite subject at school. In a parallel/alternate universe I am a molecular biologist curing diseases, reversing aging, and performing alien autopsies.
Outside of class I love to read. I average 55 to 65 books a year (mostly fiction). I also like to run. I have completed 5ks, 10ks, half marathons and full marathons. You may see me running around the neighborhoods. I also like long walks with my earbuds in and mountain biking the loop around Lake Chabot.
