About Ms. Brown

Hi everyone! I am very excited to be your teacher this year and look forward to getting to know all of you! To help you all get to know me, I created a mini ig page. Below you can find some highlights of my life that help you learn a little about me. Enjoy!

- Travel -

I love to travel. Before he retired, my grandpa worked for the airlines, so my family was able to fly for free! This perk has afforded me the amazing opportunity to see the world! Over the years, I have sailed the coast of Mexico, lived outside Berlin in an artist collective, and hiked Machu Picchu with my grandpa. I have lived abroad in Berlin, Banderas Bay Mexico, and the Andalucia region of Spain. I have learned so much from living amongst various cultures and hope to continuing traveling in the future.

Any chance I get, I am outside. I learned how to sail while in college at UC Irvine and fell in love with it. I currently live on a sailboat in Oakland. My boyfriend and I often take sailing trips in Seattle and in the SF Bay. I also love hiking, camping, and most recently rock climbing.

Friendship is one of the most important things to me. I am a very social person with a crew of friends that make everything that I do much more memorable.
