My name is Tamara Reneau and I have been teaching for 19+ years, most of those years in Castro Valley! I received a Liberal Studies degree, but have gone back many times to increase my knowledge about the Science of Reading (SOR) so that children can develop the skills necessary to be life long readers. I have received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. I love teaching children and helping them grow to be the best that they can be.

When I am not actively teaching in the classroom, you will most likely find me gardening, spending time with my family, walking my dog Luna, or reading a good book. I have 3 wonderful children and 2 adorable grandsons. I treasure spending time with my family and friends .
