About Me

I grew up in the city of Los Angeles and studied Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. I received my Bachelor of Science degree for Biology in 1993. I earned my Teaching Credential from Sonoma State in 1997, and a Master of Arts in Instructional Technology from San Francisco State in 2015. I have over twenty years of experience as an educator, and this is my eleventh year here at CMS.

I believe science education should be engaging and hands-on, and I do my best to plan activities and projects that reflect those values.
