In my series, I created a character design portfolio inspired by fantasy and medieval themes. I’ve always had a love for fantasy-inspired media like Dungeons & Dragons, and with this series, I created a group of characters who exist in this fantasy world with different races like elves, orcs, etc, and take place in a medieval time. While creating my characters, I imagined them to have this family-like bond where they all feel like close siblings and have this unbreakable friendship, and to show this, I created illustrations in addition to the character sheets to really show their connection. 

I started by designing five different characters, in each piece I showed different facial expressions and poses. I then moved on to creating full illustrations, in these I placed them in different settings with different interactions to show their personalities and relationships. In my process, I gave each character their own distinct personality and look. Each character has a different race, body type, and color scheme, giving them all unique designs. Overall, in this series I wanted to explore designing characters and strengthening my skills in designing and creating compelling characters.
