In my sustained investigation, my main focus is the effect time itself has on my life and how it changes and or twists the way I see reality. It has caused me to see many things in life in different ways such as how time can be seen in our lives and in our bodies. I chose this investigation because it is something that is part of my life and something that I struggle with and see others struggle with too. In order to portray this idea, I draw each piece based on how I see many quotes that are related to addressing time, like "time flies", "time given", and "time taken". In each of my works, I try to incorporate many items that are involved with time, items such as clocks, numbers, gears, pocket watches, hands, and chains. I draw each piece with its own identity based on how I feel, like sadness, anger, grief, and other emotions. This gives each of the artworks its own creepy atmosphere.
