Welcome to 4th & 5th gr. Science with Mrs. Foy-Couche.
Welcome to 4th & 5th gr. Science with Mrs. Foy-Couche.
My name is Mrs. Foy-Couche and welcome to Science! We will not be able to meet in person yet, but our goal is to learn a lot about the world around us and how it works. To introduce myself, I have been a Rocket Scientist and a Pilot. I was very lucky to get to teach astronauts how to fly the Space Shuttle for many years at NASA . Even astronauts learn best by trying things out for themselves, so keep that in mind while you are teaching yourself this year. When you can, you may be able to try simple experiments at home this year. If you are not able to try them out, you will see the results of the experiments I have done and we will try to explain what happened and why!
