Accelerated Reader (AR) is a proven, level-based program which helps students build reading mastery at their own individual levels by reading books that excite and motivate them.  The program works by students reading a book, taking a quick computerized multiple-choice quiz and then receiving rewards for passing the test (80% correct) and for continuing to read.
