Mrs. Jennifer Davis

Mrs. Davis loves teaching; she can't imagine a career more exciting, open-ended, creative, or challenging. Her journey into teaching began at a small private school in Santa Clara working with K/1 students for five years. Eager for new adventures and experiences, Mrs. Davis spent the next 11 years teaching the Rockhopper Penguins (4th/5th grades) at Murdock-Portal Elementary School. There she learned so much and carries many positive memories from that journey in her life. However, learning is a lifelong journey, so she decided to spread her wings once again and set out on a new path as a Stocklmeir Panda! Mrs. Davis is thrilled to create new memories and experiences here with all of you! She would like to welcome you to OUR classroom!

Mrs. Davis was born and raised in the Bay Area. She attended Blackford Elementary School, Monroe Middle School, and Archbishop Mitty High School. Moving forward, she graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. degree in English and a minor in Education. Afterwards, she attained her teaching credential and Masters degree in Cross-Cultural Teaching & Learning from National University. She has a sister who used to teach kindergarten, but now teaches fourth grade at Stocklmeir...can you guess who? Her husband is also a teacher at Collins Elementary School, so she is surrounded by a family of teachers! Mrs. Davis is very enthusiastic and loves learning from those around her. She is passionate about traveling, enjoys singing and playing the guitar & ukulele, and feels it is important to live life to the fullest!
