About Me

I’m a bay area native and was born and raised about 25 minutes north of Sunnyvale, in Redwood City, CA. My love for teaching began after attending college at UC Berkeley, while working with children at an academic-based after-school program. My years working there taught me how to manage a classroom, plan and execute projects, and create a fun and productive environment for kids. Though this experience showed me just how demanding working with children could be, it also continually reminded me just how incredibly rewarding and fulfilling of a profession it is. After a few years of directing the after school program, I decided to return to school to attain my teaching credential and Master of Arts in Education. I am beyond thrilled that this journey led me here, to becoming a Stocklmeir Panda!

In my spare time I love to read, ride my bike, take walks with my dog, and play board games with my husband.

Here are some other fun facts about me:

  • I hold duel citizenship with the United States and Italy
  • My amazing husband teaches 4th grade at Stocklmeir
  • I love animals
  • I love to travel
  • My favorite thing in the entire world is curling up on the couch and reading a good book

I can’t wait to learn about you and your family!
