Welcome to 7th grade Mandarin:

The world of Chinese is all-encompassing. In addition to daily conversations, Chinese also covers literature, science, history and geography, and art, to name a few. We will use reading strategies to enhance reading comprehension and critical thinking. We will also apply the writer's craft and the writing process to enhance our writing skills. Hopefully, we not only become better language arts students but also become better citizens and thinkers, with our real voice.

中文的世界包羅萬象，除了日常生活會話以外，中文也涉獵文學、科學、史地、藝術等範疇。我們將會使用閱讀策略來增強閱讀理解和批判性思維，也將運用作家的技巧和寫作過程來提高我們的寫作技巧。 希望我們不僅成為更好的語言學生，而且成為更好的公民和思想家，發出我們真實的聲音。
