I am excited to work with you all and getting to know you as learners and extraordinary individuals.
I have been teaching for 25 years in a variety of grade levels from 2nd to 8th grade. This is my third year teaching at Miller. For my previous 13 years in CUSD, I taught at John Muir Elementary. Prior to that I taught in middle school for several years. I love teaching math and science and teach with a growth mindset!
I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Masters in education, as well as credentials in multiple subject teaching and administration.
I am married and have two children. My daughter just graduated from Loyola Marymount University and my son is just staring his freshman year at San Jose State University. Both of my kids went through Miller Middle School and Lynbrook High School. I also have five animals: two dogs, two cats, and a California Desert Tortoise. Some of my favorite things to do include walking my dogs, reading, watching movies, gardening, hiking, and going to the beach.
