COVID-19 UPDATE: Health Protocols at Yosemite
Naturebridge and Hyde Staff are well-experienced in managing students who may get sick during the trip, especially as our Yosemite trip typically occurs during flu season.
Students are required to be fever free at least 24 hours without medication prior to departure.
Students who become unwell during the trip will be kept in quarantine. Parents will be contacted to pick their student up.
Update on the Flu, Cold and COVID-19 [from 2020]
The safety of our participants and staff is our highest priority. We work directly with the Office of Public Health and our National Park Service partners to actively monitor risk at our sites. If any program alterations are warranted by NPS or the Office of Public Health, we will contact you immediately.
To help prevent the spread of the flu, cold and COVID-19, reinforce proper handwashing; food handling; not sharing water bottles; covering sneezes and coughs; not touching eyes, mouth or nose; and report any illness symptoms while on program.
