Book Reports:
1. Book reports are a required part of the class.
2. Books should be approximately 80 pages or longer. They should be books that you have not read or had read to you before.
3. Certain types of books are not acceptable: picture books, comic or cartoon books, and choose your own adventure or twist-a-plot stories. If you are not sure if a book is suitable or not, check with your classroom teacher before you begin reading.
4. Read your book during Sustained Silent Reading periods. Consider reading the book a second time through.
5. Book reports are shared in class. Each report will have a project that is designed to help you share your report and also make it fun to give. You are expected to complete the reports and/or projects by yourself at home. You will need to practice reciting your oral presentation at home as well.
