The Ingersoll Middle School Library has joined the eRead Illinois shared collection to provide free access to e-books for our students. E-books are checked out via the Boundless app on a student’s compatible device such as an iphone, tablet, or PC computer or via the online catalog. The Boundless shared collection is used by public, school, and special libraries within the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS). The current IMS scoped collection contains Young Adult and Juvenile fiction and non- fiction titles on a wide range of topics. Because we are participating in a group purchase of this product and because books are not checked out with school staff supervision, we cannot be responsible for materials borrowed through this service.
Due to the fact that some materials available in the Boundless Library may be considered unsuitable for younger readers, we are asking you to please talk with your student about your expectations for their reading material and monitor use as you see fit.
