I am a 24 year teacher at Canton High School and 24 year resident of Canton.  I recieved my B.S. in the Teaching of Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1999, my Master's in Teaching and Learning from St. Xavier University in 2003, and a English as a Second Language Endorsement from Olivet Nazarene University in 2017. Since being in Canton, I have taught Foreign Language Encore at IMS, and Spanish I-V (depending on the year) for CHS.  I currently teach Spanish I and IV.  For many years, I have been a Student Council Advisor, the Spanish Club Advisor, Prom Advisor, and the Foreign Language Department Chair.  My favorite part of teaching at CHS is the connections I make with students in the classroom and through activities and groups such as Cum Laude.
