Graph Project Instructions

Before you start Part One, watch this video to refresh your memory on Coordinate Planes

Part One: Using Measurement to Create the Coordinate Plane

Part Two: Using Measurement to Draw the Grid

This is NOT what your graph should look like.

This IS what your graph should look like.

Part Three: Graphing Equations to Draw Streets on the Graph

Remember that your graph will look different than this example because you are using different equations.

Part Four: Using ordered pairs to create buildings in the town

Part Five: Make a key for the coordinate plane

This is an example of a key. Yours may look a little different and that is fine. Make sure to include all 3 buildings and the area of the drawings as well as the actual area using the scale factor.
