I believe in promoting individual accomplishments by connecting with greater human aspirations, such as enriching our communities and feeling passionate and engaged. By providing a rich environment of learning opportunities, art history background and encouraging creative extension of thought, artistic behavior will be present. Art class is a social place where fun, problem-solving and self-expression rule.

I am so blessed to have the best job getting to learn and create with the artists at Madison and Sandburg Schools! I am a mom to four children, Maddi (21), Abby (18), Mia (16) and Jake (12). I consider them my greatest creations! My sweet husband Erik is a golf professional in Naperville. My professional experience is eight years as an elementary art teacher, one year as a kindergarten teacher and four years as a third grade teacher. I have my BS from Illinois State University and many graduate classes in areas of interest. I love to bike ride, read, play ping pong, cook and spending time with my people (family, friends and my art students).
