Hubble Parents and Students,

Research shows the importance of students making connections at school. Students need connections with their peers and teachers to be successful. We encourage all parents to discuss with your students how they can get involved at Hubble. There are so many options such as intramurals, athletics, the school plays and the many Hubble clubs. These activities are all designed to help students develop connections with others and to try new experiences. Our annual Taste of Hubble event on September 4 will introduce students to all of the amazing activities, clubs, supervisors and coaches. Encourage your student to try something new at Hubble this school year!

Hubble Cross Country begins on Tuesday, August 12 and is open to all students. See below for more information.

We will see you next Friday for the first day. Don't forget to come to Open House on Tuesday, August 12 from 8:00-12:00 to pack your lockers and walk your schedule one last time. We are looking forward to having our Huskies back at Hubble!

Curriculum Night - Mark your calendars for August 21 at 7:00PM. Curriculum Night is an opportunity to meet your students' teachers, hear about what they will be learning this year and to walk your students class schedule. We hope to see you there!
The Hubble Athletics website has been updated with 2025-2026 information, schedules, and tryout dates. Please take a look if your child is interested in participating in athletics at Hubble next year!

- Remember that a current athletic physical is required for participation in tryouts for sports. Physicals are good for 13 months from the date of examination and can be turned into the health office or emailed to hubblehealthoffice@cusd200.org.
7th and 8th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be held on Monday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 19th when we return from summer break. A current physical is required to participate in the tryout! Make sure that all physical forms are turned into the health office! If you have questions about whether or not your child's physical is current, please email Hubble's Athletic Director.
Cross Country Running Camp - Join Franklin Cross Country coaches Dan Nielsen and Mike Harland to improve fitness and learn about the sport of cross country running! The Bulldog XC camp for students going into grades 6-8 is open to new and experienced runners from any school. Workouts will include proper stretching and warm-ups; distance runs; interval training; chats on sleep & diet for runners; and a culminating race on the Franklin cross country course at Northside Park! New cardio machines were installed this summer in the Fitness Center. We are ready for PE and Fitness Club!
