We're glad you're here! Lets get you started!
Register for Environmental Club here.
Find out the next club meeting date and just show up (no advanced notification necessary).
All meets run from 2:20-3:00pm in Room 706.
1. Do I need prior experience to join the Environmental Club?
Nope! All students are welcome—whether you’re a beginner or have lots of experience caring for the environment.
2. When and where do you meet?
The meeting dates are listed in the meeting dates tab or click here. Navigate through the months of the calendar to see all our meeting dates. Roughly, we meet every other week in room 706.
3. Can I join if I can’t attend every meeting?
Yes! We understand everyone is busy. You can still participate in projects and events whenever you’re available.
4. What kinds of projects does the club do?
Our projects include recycling drives, school clean-ups, tree planting, awareness campaigns, and more!
5. Can I bring friends or work with a team on projects?
Absolutely! The more, the merrier. Most of our projects are collaborative and team-based.
6. Is there a fee to join?
Nope—joining the Environmental Club is free for all students.
7. How do I sign up?
Fill out our online registration form or contact Activities Director, Mrs. Nilles (Melissa.Nilles@cusd200.org) to get started.
8. Can I suggest new projects or ideas?
Yes! We love hearing ideas from members—your input helps shape what the club does.
9. Are there leadership opportunities?
Yes! Students can run for officer positions each year or take the lead on specific projects.
10. What if I can’t stay for the entire meeting?
No problem! You’re welcome to join for as much of the meeting as you can. Every little bit helps, and you can still participate in projects or events even if you can’t stay the whole time.
11. Who can I contact if I have more questions?
Reach out to the Environmental club Sponsor, Mrs. Schmalz, (Lisa.Schmalz@cusd200.org) anytime. We’re happy to answer your questions!
