When and where is graduation?

  • Graduation is at Wheaton North on Saturday, May 29, on Rexilius Field.

  • The ceremony begins at 4:00 pm.


What time do I need to arrive?

  • Graduates must be at Wheaton North by 3:00 pm.


What time should my family arrive?

  • Seating for family members will begin at 3:15 pm.


How many tickets will my family receive?

  • Adhering to the IDPH spectator guidelines currently each graduate will receive 2 tickets.


How will I get my tickets?

  • Students will receive their tickets at the Senior Picnic. In order to receive your tickets all your fees need to be reconciled as well as your Chromebook turned in.


Will this event be livestreamed so others can watch?

  • Yes! Tune in to CUSD200s YouTube channel.


Can my family request extra tickets?

  • Extra tickets will not be available due to limited seating.


How long does the ceremony last?

  • The ceremony will last between 1 hr 30 mins & 1 hr 45 mins.


What should I wear under my gown? Please remember you are walking on turf/track and it will be a distance (approximately ½ mile)

  • Graduates should dress in professional formal attire which includes:

    • Shirts

    • Ties

    • Dresses

    • Dress slacks

    • Blouses

    • Dress shoes

    • Dress Sandals

  • Graduates should not wear:

    • Shorts

    • Jeans

    • T-shirts

    • Gym shoes


Can I decorate my cap?

  • No, students cannot decorate their caps.


What should I do if I don’t want to attend the ceremony?

  • Please notify the registrar, Mrs. Dudley at 630.784.7323, as soon as possible.


Can I bring a water bottle?

  • No, but a water bottle will be placed underneath your chair outside.


Will there be a place for a family member in a wheelchair?

  • Yes, there are spots along the home side bleachers for wheelchairs.


What if it rains?

  • Save the Date for Sunday, May 30th as our back up date.


When and how will I know if the date will be changed because of the weather?

  • Check your Class of 2021 website and all details will be listed there. You will be notified by Thursday night of a rain contingent plan based on the forecast.


I need handicap parking, what should I do?
