If anyone is having issues with their chromebooks they can be traded at the district office for another one. (Only if it came from the district.)
1. First parents need to have a parentvue account and make sure you have completed the regular registration process. If you need an interpreter let us know.
2. Then, complete the ADK interest form in ParentVue under "additional parent links"...or someone can help you with that.
3. The district will then contact you.

Due to low or no food distribution at two sites, we are eliminating the two distribution sites at the College Ave. Metra and Crescent and Chase Sts. The closest two sites are Franklin Middle School and Evergreen & Williston in Wheaton.
At school-based distribution sites, food service staff will be located under a tent. At the community-based sites, food service staff will be located in an Illinois Central bus. Brown-bag meals, prepared by our food service provider, Organic Life, with breakfast and lunch will be distributed.
This opportunity is open to any child age 18 or younger.
Follow this link for a map of our food distribution sites. Visit www.cusd200.org/elearning for all information related to our E-Learning plans.
Food service will be available during the weeks of March 16 - 20 and March 23 - March 27.
We will not have food service during the week of spring break, March 30 - April 4.
Families can stop by one of our four middle schools from the hours of 9:00AM-12:00PM.
Food will be distributed outdoors at the schools. At the bottom of this pate, you will find the names, addresses and phone numbers of each of the middle schools.
We are asking students and families to collect meals at the school that you previously attended, currently attend, or will attend in the future.
Brown-bag meals, prepared by our food service provider, Organic Life, with breakfast and lunch will be distributed. Breakfast will most likely consist of a cereal bowl or cereal bar, juice and string cheese.
Lunch will most likely consist of a ham or turkey sub sandwich, vegetable and fruit.
This opportunity is open to students who receive a free or reduced pay lunch or students who pay for lunch.
Families who pay partial or full amounts will be billed to your account.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. I

When does E-Learning begin?
E-Learning begins on March 17 at 9:30 a.m. Individual school plans will be posted by end of day Monday, March 16.
How will my child know his or her assignments?
By 9:30 a.m. each day, you (early childhood & elementary) or your child (middle and high school) will receive a morning message from his or her teacher with assignments for the day. To see the formats teachers are using to share assignments, see the E-Learning Directory below.
Some assignments may last one day, and others might take longer. Students can work on assignments at their own pace.
Who do I contact if I have questions about E-Learning?
If you have questions about E-Learning, please contact your child’s teacher or your school directly. Unless otherwise noted, schools will still have staff onsite each workday.
What if we don’t have a device (computer, laptop, tablet, etc.) at home?
Please notify your child’s teacher(s) right away. The Department of Technology will work with you to make a device available. While you wait, the school office can provide paper copies to individuals that don’t have internet availability.
What if my child needs help with an assignment?
Teachers will monitor their communication platform on a daily basis to assist students and parents with assignments and answer questions.
What if we have trouble with a device from the school or the online software the teacher is using?
Please contact the teacher. They will work with a building-level support team to provide assistance.
How long should my child expect to work on assignments each day?
Early Childhood: 30 minutes maximum
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade: 1-hour maximum
3rd - 5th Grade: 2-hours maximum
Middle School: 20 minutes per course (class)
High School: 30 minutes per course (class)
We understand that this is a new experience for everyone, and flexibility is important. If needed, students will have five days after returning to school to complete their assignments.
How will attendance be taken?
Attendance will not be taken in this particular instance. The Illinois State Board of Education has declared our time out of school to be “Act of God” days and therefore we are not required to take attendance or make these days up.
Will these days need to be made up at the end of the school year?
Our E-Learning days will count as school days. We will not need to make them up.
What if my child has an IEP or 504 plan?
Materials, assignments, and related services during the E-Learning will be accommodated, modified and differentiated based upon your child’s IEP or 504 plan. Flexibility in delivery is imperative to ensure students receive the instruction in correspondence to their IEP/504 plan.
