Welcome to Our Makerspaces
The purpose of our school makerspaces are to provide students with a hands-on, creative environment where they can explore, design, experiment, and build using a variety of tools and materials. They encourage curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving across disciplines.
The key goals of our makerspaces include:
Fostering Creativity and Innovation – Students can turn ideas into tangible projects, encouraging original thinking
Supporting STEM/STEAM Learning – Makerspaces often emphasize science, technology, engineering, art, and math through practical application.
Encouraging Collaboration – Students work together on projects, building teamwork and communication skills.
Developing Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills – Through trial, error, and iteration, students learn how to overcome challenges.
Providing Equity and Access to Tools – Makerspaces give all students access to materials and technology (like 3D printers, robotics kits, or crafting supplies) they might not have at home.
