Hello! I'm Mr. Karpan, and I'll be your student's 6th grade teacher for the 2020 - 2021 school year.

This is my sixth year at DIS. I student taught in a 6th grade classroom for the '15-'16 school year. For the '16-'17 school year, I taught 5th grade, and have taught 6th grade since.

I graduated from Roxana High School in 2012. I then attended Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville where I majored in Elementary and Middle School Education. I graduated in 2016 and was blessed to begin my career with Collinsville CUSD 10. I am currently attending SIUE again for graduate school, where I am pursuing a master's degree in Special Education.

In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with my family and friends. I have two nieces (6 years old and 4 years old) and love to spoil them! I currently reside in Bethalto, but hope to make the Collinsville area my home soon!
